$150 NLH $50,000 GTD (Flight 1A): Hal Pawluk Holds The Monster Stack, As Flight 1A Play Enters The Homestretch

$150 No Limit Hold'em
$50,000 GTD
Level 15 (Blinds 2,000/4,000/4,000)
Total Flight 1A Entries: 58
Flight 1A Players Remaining: 10

Hal Pawluk (Miami, FL) could choose to leave the table now, and he would still bag over 300,000 heading into Day 2 of this event (we all know he's not going anywhere though, until the bagging process is complete).

Flight 1A is down to it's final ten players, as they all share the same felt at Table 1, hoping to reach the bagging process.  Today's action is scheduled to conclude after Level 16, but if the 10% mark is reached beforehand (6 players), the bags will be brought out then.  Hal Pawluk holds a commanding chip lead heading into Level 15, as he sits with over 360,000 in front of him.  His closest competitor is Jacobo Mugrabi, who has a stack that's almost 100,000 shy of Pawluk's.

Hal is looking to cash at the Isle Poker Room for the first time since last October (Isle Poker Open), and add to his live tournament resume, which boasts earnings of $14,318.

Hal Pawluk - 365,000 (91bb)
