Monday, February 11th: After A Successful Tournament Weekend, We Return To A "Shortened" Recurring Schedule For The Week

ICYMI: Sunday's afternoon tournament kick off the day's action at 11:00am ($80 No Limit Hold'em $2,000 GTD), and saw registration close with an impressive field.  A total of (32) entries showed on the clock after Level 8, and once the optional add-ons were included into the prize pool, it would officially close at $2,180.  Four places were scheduled to get paid, but players agreed to a six-way chop prior to the money bubble, with official results from the tournament posted below:
  1. Zaki Lichaa (Pompano Beach, FL) $491
  2. Joseph Mancuso (Deerfield Beach, FL) $406
  3. Ralph Miranda (Acme, PA) $383
  4. Ronald Arena (Boynton Beach, FL) $375
  5. Christina Cadbury-Feldman (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $273
  6. Christopher Buggs (Margate, FL) $252
The 5:00pm time slot hosted the $130 No Limit Hold'em ($1,500 GTD), which is no longer a "single re-entry" event.  The field closed with a total of (15) entries, and an official prize pool of $1,500.  Only two spots were scheduled to reach the money, but with the payouts pretty healthy, a deal was agreed to prior to the money bubble.  Joakim Dag took a lions share of the chop ($600), with the rest of the players taking home $300.  Details of the deal are posted below:
  1. Joakim Dag (Pompano Beach, FL) $600
  2. Andrew Daire (Boca Raton, FL) $300
  3. David Morris (Plantation, FL) $300
  4. Jonathan Marcu (Boca Raton, FL) $300
Tournaments: Monday begins a "shortened" week of recurring tournament, because of the $150 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD), which begins on Thursday.  Today's schedule starts at 11:00am, with a $130 No Limit Hold'em event.  The tournament is structured with 16,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.

The evening time slot (6:00pm) hosts a $90 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasts a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  Prior to being dealt their first hand, players have the option to get an add-on (for $10).

Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
