Monday, February 18th: After A Very Impressive Showing, Day 2 For The $150 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD) Resumes At 12:00PM

ICYMI: Yesterday was the final opportunity for players to enter the $150 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD), with the tournament already having surpassed the posted guarantee.  The trend of growing numbers continued, as the last pair of flights were the largest of the eight to  have been played, attracting a combined total of (286) entries (119 in Flight 1G, and 167 in Flight 1H).  From that total number, (28) players bagged chips for today's Day 2, led by Sean Shah (Delray Beach, FL).  Shah not only eclipsed Kenneth Berman's 450,000 stack (which stayed atop the counts for days), but he absolutely crushed it, packing away a Day 2 stack of 588,000.

The final numbers for the event saw a total of (754) entries, of which (78) reached Day 2 play.  The prize pool closed at $85,202, which will be spread across (72) pay spots.  A min-cash in the tournament will see a return of $260, while first place is scheduled to take home $16,242.

Tournaments: Monday's tournament schedule begins at 12:00pm, with (78) players returning for Day 2 of the $150 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD).  Of the players that sit down to Day 2, (72) will reach the money, with all eyes on the $16,242 up top.  There are no structural changes, as the levels will continue to be (30) minutes in length.  Day 2 play will resume where Flight 1D left off, with 25:30 remaining in Level 16.

The evening time slot (6:00pm) hosts a $90 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasts a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  Prior to being dealt their first hand, players have the option to get an add-on (for $10).

Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
