Sunday, March 31st: Day 1C Of The Battles At The Beach Main Event Headlines Schedule, As Players Have One Last Opportunity To Bag Chips

ICYMI: Saturday's schedule was headlined by Day 1B of the Battles At The Beach Main Event (Event #7), with the field almost doubling in size from Friday's action.  After eleven complete levels of play, Day 1B wrapped up with (64) total entries, of which (17) players bagged chip for Monday's Day 2.  Two notable names from the Northeast topped the chip counts, led by Stephen Song, who will be returning tomorrow to a stack of 229,500.  Also cracking the 200,000 mark was Gregory Fishberg, bagging 215,500 at the end of play.  Official chip counts from Day 1B are posted below:

The current prize pool for the tournament sits at $136,350, which is just short of the halfway mark (needed to reach the guarantee).  A total of (122) entries are needed to reach the number ($300,000), with today's Day 1C the final opening flight.

Tournaments: Sunday's tournament schedule begins with a $340 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo" Satellite into Event #7 ($1,500 No Limit Hold'em $300,000 GTD).  The last satellite for the Battles At The Beach Main Event is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, (15) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  

At 1:00pm, the third (and final) starting day of Event #7 will be getting underway. The Battles At The Beach Main Event is structured with 30,000 unit starting stacks, (50) minute levels (up until the final table), and has registration period that stays open through the first hand of Day 2.

The day then wraps up at 6:00pm, with the first satellite for the last event of the Battles At The Beach ($360 No Limit Hold'em $50,000 GTD).  The $90 No Limit Hold'em Satellite is structured with 10,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  The satellite guarantees five seats into Event #8.


Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.

- Levels will last (50) minutes, transitioning to (60) minutes at the final table
- Registration open until the first Day 2 hand is dealt (12:00pm)

6:00pm - $90 No Limit Hold'em Satellite Into Event #8 ($360 No Limit Hold'em $50,000 GTD) 5 Seats GTD

- Players start with 10,000 in tournament chips
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels will last (20) minutes
