Tournaments: Thursday's tournament schedule sees the return of a "staple," along with the introduction of a new event. The day's action begins at 11:00an, with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($1,500 GTD). The player-friendly event is structured with 25,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8. This tournament has a history of attracted nice sized fields, with today's installment expected nothing less.
The "Monster Stack" is followed at 6:00pm, by a $130 No Limit Hold'em "Progressive Bounty" ($2,000 GTD) event. It should be noted, that this tournament is not the "turbo bounty" that runs on Sunday's, as players get extended levels of (20) minutes (along with the 15,000 unit starting stacks). Registration is also open through Level 8, not the ten levels that the turbo allows. The "progressive bounty" aspect of the tournament, will see all bounties earned over the course of the evening, awarded to the player that scores an elimination. For example, is Player A has collected four bounties, and is eliminated by Player B in Level 13, Player B will be awarded Player A's four bounties.
