Saturday, June 1st: New Month Means "New Bonuses" To High Hands, And Of Course...Turbo High Hands To Start The Day

ICYMI: Friday's tournament action began (as it has for months now) with the $75 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor" ($1,000 GTD).  The event's field would close with (27) entries, and an official prize pool of $1,350 (which mean that two $500 pay spots were to be paid out, along with a $350 third place).  Before the money bubble was even reached, players decided to agree on a deal, with the official results listed below:

The evening time slot hosted an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasted a $3,000 guaranteed prize pool.  After eight levels of open registration, the optional add-ons were collected, and the prize pool would officially close at $3,000.  Five players were scheduled to get paid, but a deal was struck once again, with the details listed below:

Tournaments: The month of June's tournament schedule begins at 11:00am, with a $130 No Limit Hold'em "Seniors" event, which boasts a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, (25) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  Players that want to enter the tournament, must be 50 years of age (or older).

The "Seniors" event is followed (at 6:00pm) by the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster," which has a $2,500 guaranteed prize pool.  The player-friendly structure has starting stacks of 50,000 units, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.


Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.

It should be noted, that from 9:00am-2:00pm, there will be $250 high hands awarded every (15) minutes.  The winning high hands that are made using two cards will be awarded the full $250 prize, while those using one card will be awarded $125.

There are also two "new" promotions additions to speak of.  There is a "Big Stack Bonus," whereas any player to has a winning high hand (and has the largest stack at the table (at the time the high hand is made), they will earn double their winnings (up to $800)!!!  This promotional is only eligible is NO LIMIT HOLD'EM.

Also, in all eligible jackpot games, if you win back-to-back high hands, you will double your winnings (up to $800).

11:00am - $130 No Limit Hold'em "Seniors 50+" ($1,500 GTD)

- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels will last (25) minutes

6:00pm - $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" ($2,500 GTD)

- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels will last (20) minutes
