Sunday, August 4th: Saturday's Recurring Tournament Success, Is Followed By Another Day Of "Fresh" Events

ICYMI: Saturday's recurring tournament structure saw a boost in numbers, beginning with the 11:00am event, which was an $80 No Limit Hold'em ($2,000 GTD).  Registration for the tournament closed with a total of (48) entries, and an official prize pool of $2,640.  Six players were scheduled to reach the money, and after John Gearhart was elimination in sixth place, a five-way chop was agreed to (with official results listed below):

The 6:00pm tournament ($100 No Limit Hold'em) saw an even larger field size, as the $3,500 guarantee was surpassed only a few hours into the event.  Registration closed with a total of (98) entries, and an official prize pool of $7,546.  Of the players remaining when Level 9 started, (13) would eventually reach the money, with action playing down to an outright winner.  Ryan Hollander bested Kyle Robertson during heads up play, taking home $2,300 for the win.  Official results of the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: Sunday's recurring schedule offers up another day of "fresh" events, which are making their appearance for the first time ever.  At 11:00am, we have the inaugural running of the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Seniors And Veterans" event, which boasts $100 "rake-free" re-buys, and an guaranteed prize pool of $2,000.  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  Re-buys are offered when players have 15,000 unit stacks (or below).

The 6:00pm tournament has been labeled "Super Sunday Nights," as the $50 No Limit Hold'em ($1,000 GTD) event runs with $30 "rake-free" re-buys.  The tournament is structured with 10,000 unit starting stacks, (15) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 10.  Re-buys are offered when players have 10,000 unit stacks (or below).

Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors seven days a week (9:00am on Saturday and Sunday).  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.

- Players start with 10,000 in tournament chips
- Late and re-entries for the first (10) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels will last (15) minutes
