The evening tournament was a $60 No Limit Hold'em ($1,200 GTD), that offered $40 rake-free re-buys. Registration closed with (16) entries in the field, and an official prize pool of $1,352 (after the re-buys were included). Just like the afternoon event, two spots were scheduled to reach the money, with a deal agreed to after the money bubble:
- Donna Pruitt (Baltimore, MD) $752
- Joe Ricco (Delray Beach, FL) $473
Tournaments: Today's action begins at 11:00am, with a $100 No Limit Hold'em event, that boasts a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool. The tournament is structured with 14,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8.
The "Chip Buster" returns at 6:00pm, but in it's recurring format, which sees a slightly more "condensed" structure. The $130 No Limit Hold'em event has a $3,000 guarantee, which should easily be surpassed. Players in the tournament will be sitting down to starting stacks of 50,000 units, playing (20) minute levels, and can register through Level 8.
Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors seven days a week (9:00am on Saturday and Sunday). The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize. Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50. In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.
The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am). Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand. For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.
From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
