Wednesday, September 4th: Getting Back To "Regularly Schedule Programming," After Yesterday's Half-Day

ICYMI: With the poker room opening at 12:00pm yesterday afternoon, there was only one tournament on the recurring schedule.  The $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" got underway at 6:00pm, and even with out a posted guarantee, the tournament just crushed.  Registration for the event closed with (41) total entries, and an official prize pool of $3,977.  Six players were scheduled to reach the money, and once Michael O'Brien busted in 6th place ($239), the remaining players agreed to a five-way chop.  The official results from the tournament are listed below:
  1. David Coughlin (Lighthouse Point, FL) $952
  2. Jesse Koven (Deerfield Beach, FL) $793
  3. Richard Coppola (Plantation, FL) $789
  4. Steven Flacco (Delray Beach, FL) $622
  5. Andrew Daire (Boca Raton, FL) $582
  6. Michael O'Brien (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) $239
Tournaments: The day's recurring tournament schedule begins just like it did yesterday (at 11:00am), with a $100 No Limit Hold'em.  The event is structured with 14,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.

In the evening time slot, we see a $50 No Limit Hold'em tournament, that offers rake-free $30 re-buys.  The tournament is structured with $8,000 unit starting stacks, (15) minute levels, and has registration that is open through Level 10.

Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors seven days a week (9:00am on Saturday and Sunday).  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
