The (40) entries from Day 1A equate to a running prize pool of $54,000, with two starting days remaining (and registration open for two levels on Day 2). A total of (61) entries are needed for Day 1B and Day 1C, in order to eclipse the guarantee, prior to Day 2's action.
Tournaments: Today's Isle Open schedule looks very similar to yesterday's will a small tweak in the evening satellite's buy-in. The day's action gets underway at 10:00am, with a $340 No Limit Hold'em Turbo Satellite into the Main Event, which carries a (1) seat guarantee.
Day 1B of the Isle Open Main Event ($1,500 No Limit Hold'em $300,000 GTD) begins at 12:00pm, and will mirror the same structure from yesterday. Players in the tournament will sit down to 40,000 unit starting stacks, play (50) minute levels, and can register throughout the day's action. Registration will stay open through Level 12, which is the second scheduled level of Day 2.
At 6:00pm, players have the opportunity to satellite into the Main Event, for the accessible buy-in of $175. The $175 No Limit Hold'em Satellite Into Event #6 ($1,500 No Limit Hold'em Isle Open Main Event $300,000 GTD) has a (1) seat guarantee, and is sure to attract a nice sized field.
Promotions: The "standard" high hands will be awarding $300 every (30) minutes (from 9:00am-6:00pm). Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded to those that use one card to make the high hand. For those players in tournaments, high hands are worth $100.
At 6:00pm, the high hands get a little "October boost," as they transition to $500 every (30) minutes. Players that make the high hand with one card during that period, will be awarded a $250 prize.
From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
