Tuesday, October 8th: Michael Boykin Wins The Isle Open's Mixed-Event, While We Prepare For Event #3 (With Two Satellites)

ICYMI: The headlining tournament on Monday's schedule, was Event #2 of the Isle Open ($250 Limit Omaha 8B Hi/Lo $8,000 GTD).  This tournament attracts all of the mixed-game fans, with yesterday's installment seeing the total entries go up to (41).  That would help eclipse the event's guarantee, as payouts would be spread across six spots.  There were numerous recognizable names at the final table, and when the trophy was awarded, Michael Boykin (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) would be the recipient.  Official results from Event #2 are listed below:

Tournaments: The next tournament on the Isle Open Schedule is Event #3 ($130 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 GTD) begins on Thursday, with today's schedule preparation for the event.  There are two satellites on today's schedule, both $35 No Limit Hold'em tournament into Event #3.  There is one at 11:00am, and one at 6:00pm: both structured with 10,000 unit starting stacks, (15) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  Each of the satellites have a three seat guarantee.

Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in October).  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $300 every (30) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded to those that use one card to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, high hands are worth $100.

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
