With two starting flights now in the books, the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD) has a total of (106) entries, with (23) players bagging chips for Day 2. The running prize pool is at $16,960, and with the weekend approaching, should have no problem cruising past the posted guarantee.
Tournaments: The $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD) continues today, with the second pair of starting flights for the event. There are two flights on tap (Flight 1C at 11:00am, and Flight 1D at 6:00pm), along with a $45 No Limit Hold'em Satellite for the tournament (at 2:00pm). The flights for the multi are structured with 30,000 unit starting stacks, (30) minute levels, and have registration that is open through Level 8. Players that successfully bag chips from any of the starting flights, will return on Sunday for Day 2 (12:00pm).
Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in November). The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize. Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50. In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.
The "standard" high hands will be awarding $300 every (30) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am). Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded to those that use one card to make the high hand. For those players in tournaments, high hands are worth $100.
From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
