The evening recurring schedule time slot hosted the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster," and even though it ran without a posted guaranteed, the players still showed up strong. Registration for the tournament closed with (38) entries in the field, and an official prize pool of $3,686. Five places were scheduled to reach the money, and after two in-the-money eliminations, a three-way chop was agreed to. Official results from the tournament are listed below:
- David Coughlin (Lighthouse Point, FL) $1,098
- Woody Bonarto (Sunrise, FL) $986
- Richard Blume (Delray Beach, FL) $902
- Jeffrey Davis (Oakland, CA) $405
- Jeffrey Doan (Lighthouse Point, FL) $295
Tournaments: Today's tournament schedule begins at 11:00am, with the very popular $75 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor," which has a $1,500 guarantee (meaning three players will be guaranteed to walk away with $500 prizes). The tournament is structured with 16,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration that is open through Level 8.
For the rest of the day, the lists will be available for our $80 No Limit Hold'em Sit-N-Gos, which will run once ten players are ready. The payouts for those sit-n-gos will see two players walk away with $350 prizes (bring somewhat of a survivor element to the proceedings).
Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in November). The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize. Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50. In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.
The "standard" high hands will be awarding $300 every (30) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am). Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded to those that use one card to make the high hand. For those players in tournaments, high hands are worth $100.
From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
11:00am - $75 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor" ($1,500 GTD)
- Players start with 16,000 in tournament chips
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels will last (20) minutes
