Wednesday, January 15th: "Bounty Wednesday" Ahead Of This Week's $130 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD)

ICYMI: Tuesday's tournament schedule began at 11:00am, with the $120 Omaha 8B Hi/Lo event, which ran without the normal posted guarantee.  The lack of a posted number did not deter the loyal mixed-game players, as registration for the event closed with (24) entries, and an official prize pool of $2,328.  Three players were scheduled to get paid, and after one in-the-money elimination, a heads-up deal was agreed to (between Matthew Axelrod and Lee Schneider).  Official results from the afternoon tournament are listed below:

The evening time slot (6:00pm) hosted the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster," which also ran without a guarantee.  Players love this tournament so much, that the lack of guarantee meant nothing, as the field closed with (54) entries (and an official prize pool of $5,238).  A total of (7) players were scheduled to reach the money, and after four in-the-money eliminations, the final three players agreed to a chop.  Full results from the "Chip Buster" are listed below:

Tournaments: Today's tournament schedule begins with a "new" event in the 11:00am time slot...a $60 No Limit Hold'em "Bounty" tournament ($10 bounties).  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (15) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 10.

In the evening time slot (6:00pm), we see the return of the $125 No Limit Hold'em "Green Chip Bounty" event.  The tournament is structured with 18,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8.

Promotions: The doors open at 9:00am, with three hours of "Turbo High Hands," as $100 will be awarded every (10) minutes (rollovers apply).  The promotion runs from 9:00am-12:00pm, and has quickly become popular with the players (as the rollovers have seen some high hands reach the $1,000 mark!!!).

The standard high hand promotion then takes over, and runs from 12:00pm-12:00am.  Qualifying high hands will be awarded $300, given away every (30) minutes (no rollovers).  During that period, if the winning high hand is made using one card, a $150 prize will be awarded.  For those players playing in a tournament, winning high hands will be paid out $100.

From 12:00am-3:00am, $100 high hands will be awarded every (60) minutes.

11:00am - $60 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo Bounty" ($10 Bounties)
