Tuesday, February 4th: Rafael Rodriguez Tops Four-Way Chop Of $200 NLH ($100,000 GTD), While Sheldon Gross Wins Final "Millions South America" Package

ICYMI: At 12:00pm yesterday afternoon, (144) players returned for Day 2 of the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD).  Just over half of the players that returned would reach the money, as (77) players were scheduled to earn a respective piece of the prize pool.  The money bubble burst just a few hours into play, with the action that followed playing out pretty swiftly.  The final table was reached just before 8:00pm, with things playing down to four-handed play.  At that point, the remaining players agreed to a deal, with Rafael Rodriguez (Bogota, Columbia) taking home first place money.  The official results from the final table are listed below, with full results from the tournament to be posted later this afternoon:
  1. Rafael Rodriguez (Bogota, Columbia) $16,804
  2. John Utley (Morganfield, KY) $14,020
  3. Brenno Dos Santos (Boca Raton, FL) $13,265
  4. Lebert Grinan (Miami, FL) $12,935

  9. Belal Assi (Daytona Shores, FL) $2,485
  10. Michael Newman (Nanuet, NY) $2,075
At 3:00pm, the poker hosted the final $550 No Limit Hold'em Satellite into the PartyPokerLive Millions South America.  After two satellites that offered small overlays, yesterday's installment was the most succesful, attracting a total of (21) entries.  That meant that players were competing for (1) $13,000 package, and a $4,000 second place prize.  When the dust settled, it would be Sheldon Gross earning the package, besting Patricia Conrad during heads-up play:
  1. Sheldon Gross ($13,000 Millions South America Package)
  2. Patricia Conrad (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $4,000
