Wednesday, February 19th: "Tournament Tuesday" Another Great Success, "Bounty Wednesday" Looking To Follow Suit

ICYMI: The return to the recurring tournament schedule, just happened to fall on one of the most popular day with the players.  The day's action kicked off at 11:00am, with players arriving for the $120 Omaha 8B Hi/Lo event, which boasted a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool.  Registration for the tournament closed with (26) entries, which equated to an official prize pool of $2,522.  A total of four players were scheduled to reach the money, and after the elimination of Ricardo Quintero (Miramar, FL), a three-way chop was agreed to.  Hal Klein (Boca Raton, FL) took home first place money, with the official results listed below:

The evening time slot (6:00pm) hosted the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" ($3,000 GTD), which is likely the top recurring tournament with the players.  The posted guarantee was eclipsed easily, as registration closed with (45) entries in the field.  The $4,365 prize pool was scheduled to be paid out across six spots, with players agreeing to a five-way chop, after the in-the-money elimination of John Mattingly (Las Vegas, NV).  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: Today's tournament schedule begins with a "new" event in the 11:00am time slot...a $60 No Limit Hold'em "Bounty" tournament ($10 bounties).  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (15) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 10.

In the evening time slot (6:00pm), we see the return of the $125 No Limit Hold'em "Green Chip Bounty" event.  The tournament is structured with 18,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8.

Promotions: The doors open at 9:00am, with three hours of "Turbo High Hands," as $100 will be awarded every (10) minutes (rollovers apply).  The promotion runs from 9:00am-12:00pm, and has quickly become popular with the players (as the rollovers have seen some high hands reach the $1,000 mark!!!).

The standard high hand promotion then takes over, and runs from 12:00pm-12:00am.  Qualifying high hands will be awarded $300, given away every (30) minutes (no rollovers).  During that period, if the winning high hand is made using one card, a $150 prize will be awarded.  For those players playing in a tournament, winning high hands will be paid out $100.

From 12:00am-3:00am, $100 high hands will be awarded every (60) minutes.

11:00am - $60 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo Bounty" ($10 Bounties)
