ICYMI: Last night's tournament action got underway ay 6:00pm, with a full house for the $130 No Limit Hold'em ($3,000 GTD).  For the second week in a row, the Saturday evening tournament more than doubled the guaranteed number! Registration closed with a total of (85) players, equating to a prize pool of $6,375, which was scheduled to be spread across eleven pay spots.  Action paused with five players remaining, allowing those left to discuss, and eventually agree to a chop.  Steve Raeman took the lion's share of the deal, with the official results listed below:

Tournaments: The weekend tournament trifecta wraps up this afternoon, with a $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack," which begins at 3:00pm. The event is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  The past two nights have exceeded all expectations, so solid numbers should be very attainable for the Sunday matinee.

Promotions: Sunday's high hand sees $100 awarded every (30) minutes, from the moment the poker room doors open...to the time they close.  The qualifying high hand must be aces-full or better, and made using both of the player's hole cards, as one-card high hands no longer qualify.

3:00pm: $130 No Limit Hold'em

  • Players start with 12,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
