Sunday, January 31st: Tyler Gray Headlines Five-way Chop Of Saturday's Tournament, "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD) Front And Center

ICYMI: Saturday's tournament is attractive to players in numerous ways, but nothing garners more interest than the potential return on investment.  It's not often a player finds a $100 buy-in tournament, that consistently has prize pools over $7,000-$8,000.  Last night's $100 No Limit Hold'em ($3,000 GTD) attracted a total of (107) entries, equating to a prize pool of $8,025.  Fourteen players were scheduled to reach the money, with the event's action playing down to a five-way chop.  Official results from Saturday's success are listed below:

Tournaments: The action for the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD) gets underway at 3:00pm, with another great crowd expected.  The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  Results from the event will be posted tomorrow morning, in Monday's blog update.

Promotions: One of the changes in the promotional calendar for January, was the addition of $300 high hands on Sunday.  From 11:00am to 11:00pm, players will be vying for those $300 bonus payments every (30) minutes.  Those qualifying high hands must be aces-full or better, using both hole cards (one card high hands no longer qualify).

  • Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (20) minutes
