Monday, February 8th: Kalgstein And Buggs Chop Sunday's "Monster Stack," With A New Week Of Action Underway!

ICYMI: One would think that Super Bowl Sunday would hurt the numbers for yesterday's $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD)...but that just wasn't the case.  The action got underway at 3:00pm, and by the time registration for the tournament closed, the tournament clock read (71) entries.  That equated to a $7,100 prize pool, which was more than double the posted guarantee that was on the event.  A total of nine players reached the money, with the final table ending in a heads-up chop, between Rick Kalgstein and Christopher Buggs.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:
  1. Rick Kalgstein (Sunrise, FL) $2,075
  2. Christopher Buggs (Margate, FL) $1,829
  3. Thierry Franklin (Lauderhill, FL) $870
  4. Jordan Shamah (Delray Beach, FL) $621
  5. Jason Robinson (Lake Worth, FL) $479
  6. David Albertson (Margate, FL) $373
  7. Sean Silvera (Pompano Beach, FL) $320
  8. Daniel Genachte (Deerfield Beach, FL) $284
  9. Robert Kessler (Parkland, FL) $249
Promotions: From 11:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.  These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
