ICYMI: With the weekly tournament schedule growing larger, the competition for "best event of the week" continues to play out. For a long time, is was Friday night's $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD), but Saturday night has seemed to find itself atop the pedestal. Last night's installment attracted a total of (159) entries, a number that no tournament has reached, since the poker room re-opened. The $11,925 was to be paid out across (20) spots, with action playing down to three-handed play. A deal would be agreed to, with Marx Martin (Hollywood, FL) taking home first place money ($2,338). Tournaments: The action for the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD) gets underway at 3:00pm, with another great crowd expected. The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows). Results from the event will be posted tomorrow morning, in Monday's blog update.
