Friday, April 30th: Nancy Birnbaum Looking To Cause "Trouble" On The Leaderboard, With Tonight's Tournament The Last Of The Month!

ICYMI: While it was a banner night for Vinicius Monteiro, Nancy Birnbaum's result was the headlining moment from last night's $150 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" ($5,000 GTD).  The tournament was the second to last of the month, giving extra meaning for those looking to make moves on the Player Of The Month leaderboard.  Registration for the event closed with (129) entries, and an official prize pool of $14,835, which was scheduled to be paid out across (17) spots.  Action played down to the point that the final table was three-handed, with those remaining agreeing to a chop.  As mentioned above, Monteiro earned first place money in the deal, but Nancy's runner-up finish (and 23.25 leaderboard points), saw her move into the top three on the rankings.  Official results are listed below, which an updated leaderboard to be posted across the poker room's social media outlets:

Tournaments: With the arrival of the weekend, comes the $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)...the tournament that started this incredible "re-introduction" of the Isle Casino Pompano Park poker room.  The cards get in the air at 6:00pm, with players sitting down to starting stacks of 15,000.  Levels will last (20) minutes throughout the evening, with registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).



Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) to 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  The 11:00pm-Close period will then see $100 high hands awarded every (30) minutes.

6:00pm - $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)
  • Players start with 15,000 in tournament chips
  • Levels will last (20) minutes 
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
