Sunday, April 18th: It's All About Those "Value-Town" Numbers, "Monster Stack" Attract Tournament Regulars

ICYMI: Saturday's $100 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) continues to offer the best value of any tournament in the area, with the prize pool eclipsing $10,000 on a regular basis (for a $100 buy-in).  Last night's tournament attracted a total of (155) entries, and an official prize pool of $11,625.  With the large amount of entries, (21) players would reach the money.  Action played down to a five-way chop at the final table, with everyone walking away at least $1,987 richer.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: The action for the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD) gets underway at 3:00pm, with another great crowd expected.  The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  Results from the event will be posted tomorrow morning, in Monday's blog update.



Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) to 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  The 11:00pm-Close period will then see $100 high hands awarded every (30) minutes.

3:00pm: $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD)
  • Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (20) minutes
