Friday, June 4th: Andrew Maskof Wins First Event Of June, $1,000 "Bonus" Added To This Morning's High Hand Promotion!!!

ICYMI: Thursday kicked off our tournament action for the month of June, with the $150 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" ($5,000 GTD), which got underway at 6:00pm.  Registration for the tournament would close with a total of (143) players, and an official prize pool of $9,295 (bounty pool of $7,150).  In addition to any earned bounties, a total of (18) players were scheduled to cash, with the night's action concluding in a three-way chop (topped by Andrew Maskof).  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: With the arrival of the weekend, comes the $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)...the tournament that started this incredible "re-introduction" of the Isle Casino Pompano Park poker room.  The cards get in the air at 6:00pm, with players sitting down to starting stacks of 15,000.  Levels will last (20) minutes throughout the evening, with registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).



Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) to 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  The 11:00pm-Close period will then see $100 high hands awarded every (30) minutes.

In addition to the high hands, there is a "bonus" promotion in place, which offers $1,000 to the highest hand from the 10:00am-12:00pm time period.  If a player makes a straight flush in the 10:00am-10:30am qualifying period, and that is the best qualifying high hand from 10:00am-12:00pm, they will earn an extra $1,000 (in addition to the $300 they were awarded for the half-hour time period).

  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
