ICYMI: With four tournament remaining in the month, the time is now for players that want to make that climb up the Player of the Month leaderboard. Last night's $150 No Limit Hold'em tournament attracted a total of (132) entries, which equated to an official prize pool of $15,180. With those numbers, there was also a healthy amount of leaderboard points up for grabs. Seventeen players reached the money in the event, with the top six eventually agreeing to a deal. Shawn Farmer (Miami, FL) took home first place money in the chop ($2,585), along with 22.48 leaderboard points, which put him just outside the top ten. Tournaments: Saturday's 6:00pm tournament is one of the most popular on the schedule, as it offers an incredibly affordable buy-in, that always sees some great returns. The $100 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event has consistently crushing the posted guarantee, as the prize pool reaches five-figures on a weekly basis.
The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 12,000 chips, and levels that last (20) minutes throughout the event. Registration is open through Level 8, allowing for almost three hours of play, prior to the window closing for the night.
Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10). From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
6:00pm: $100 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)
- Players start with 12,000 in tournament chips
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels will last (20) minutes
