Saturday, July 10th: David Albertson Wins Friday's Tournament Outright, Vaults To Third On The Monthly Leaderboard!

ICYMI: This week has been all about the Isle Casino Pompano Park tournament veteran's, as another familiar name bested last night's tournament field.  The $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) attracted another nice field, as registration closed with a total of (157) entries.  The $18,055 prize pool was scheduled to be spread across (20) payspots, with the addition of those ever-valuable leaderboard points.  The tournament's action played down to an outright winner, as two of the Isle's most notable names battled it out, with David Albertson besting Pedro Palacio.  Official results from the event are listed below:

Tournaments: Saturday's 6:00pm tournament is one of the most popular on the schedule, as it offers an incredibly affordable buy-in, that always sees some great returns.  The $100 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event has consistently crushing the posted guarantee, as the prize pool reaches five-figures on a weekly basis.  

The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 12,000 chips, and levels that last (20) minutes throughout the event.  Registration is open through Level 8, allowing for almost three hours of play, prior to the window closing for the night.  

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.



6:00pm: $100 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)

  • Players start with 12,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (20) minutes
