Saturday, July 17th: Another Isle Casino Pompano Park Tournament Veteran Assumes Top Spot On The Leaderboard, After Winning Friday's $5,000 GTD (In A Three-Way Deal)!

ICYMI: The Player of the Month leaderboard has added additional motivation for players, not only for the extra cash at the end of the month, but for bragging rights amongst tournament regulars.  When Raminder Singh took over the top spot on the leaderboard, many assumed that he would be up there for a long time, considering his recent form.  It only ended up lasting for (24) hours, as another Isle Casino Pompano Park veteran surpassed him, after taking home first place money in last night's tournament.

The $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) did not disappoint, attracting a total of (145) entries, and more than tripling the posted guarantee ($16,675).  A total of (19) players saw a return on investment, with the evening's action playing down to a three-handed final table.  At that point, a deal was struck, with David Albertson earning first place money ($3,335).  In addition to the money, Albertson grabbed hold of 29.00 leaderboard points, enough to put him atop the board.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: Saturday's 6:00pm tournament is one of the most popular on the schedule, as it offers an incredibly affordable buy-in, that always sees some great returns.  The $100 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event has consistently crushing the posted guarantee, as the prize pool reaches five-figures on a weekly basis.

The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 12,000 chips, and levels that last (20) minutes throughout the event.  Registration is open through Level 8, allowing for almost three hours of play, prior to the window closing for the night.

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
