Saturday, July 24th: Friday Night's Tournament Almost Triples Guarantee, With Saturday's Train To "Value-Town" Ready For Departure Once Again!

ICYMI: Even with one of the largest series of the year occurring in the area, tournaments at the Isle Casino Pompano Park are still attracted impressive numbers.  Last night's $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) still managed to almost triple the posted guarantee, and ended up seeing five players walk away with payouts of at least $1,345.  Registration for the tournament closed with a total of (122) entries, and had an official prize pool of $14,030.  A total of (16) players would end up seeing a return on investment, with the action ending in a five-way deal, topped by Kevin Dubrocq.  Dubrocq earned $3,040 for his efforts, as well as 26.43 leaderboard points.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: Saturday's 6:00pm tournament is one of the most popular on the schedule, as it offers an incredibly affordable buy-in, that always sees some great returns.  The $100 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event has consistently crushing the posted guarantee, as the prize pool reaches five-figures on a weekly basis.  

The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 12,000 chips, and levels that last (20) minutes throughout the event.  Registration is open through Level 8, allowing for almost three hours of play, prior to the window closing for the night.  

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.



6:00pm: $100 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)

  • Players start with 12,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (20) minutes
