ICYMI: Less than (24) hours after a successful introduction of the $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD), we saw a record-breaking "Final Table Finish" field. The $250 No Limit Hold'em event always carries a $10,000 guarantee, but it's really just a weekly formality at this point. Last night's registration closed with a total of (198) entries, creeping very close to a number we've yet to have seen eclipsed on a Monday. The $41,580 prize pool was scheduled to be spread across just the top nine spots, which had players remaining laser-focused. Action would play down to a three-handed final table, at which point a deal was struck, with Ian Cohen (Lauderdale By The Sea, FL) taking home first place money (worth $11,273). Vinicius Moteiro and Norman Boothe rounded out the trio, with official tournament results listed below:
- Ian Cohen (Lauderdale By The Sea, FL) $11,273
- Vinicius Monteiro (Boca Raton, FL) $8,879
- Norman Boothe (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $8,122
- Edward Russell (Pompano Beach, FL) $2,911
- Mark Guariglia (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $2,911
- Brian Dunn (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $2,495
- Eric Landau (Delray Beach, FL) $2,495
- Rinat Haviv (Coconut Creek, FL) $1,247
- James Tomblin (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $1,247
Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10). From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
