ICYMI: Last night saw the first installment of the $180 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" ($5,000 GTD), with the increased buy-in offering an even healthier prize pool. Registration for the tournament closed with (104) entries, and an official prize pool of $9,464 ($5,200 bounty pool). A total of (13) players were scheduled to reach the money, with many focused on earning as many leaderboard points as possible. The results were full of familiar names to the tournament scene at the Isle Casino Pompano Park, including Rick Kalgstein, Pedro Palacio, Karen Duffy, and Robert Kessler. When the final table reached heads-up play, the remaining pair agreed to a deal, with Darkhan Botabayev (Sunny Isles, FL) taking home first place money (and 29.24 leaderboard points).
