Saturday, September 4th: Raminder Singh Continues To Crush, Adds Another Isle Tournament Win To His Resume

ICYMI: Raminder Singh labeled himself a "True Amateur," and while those that know him understand the humor behind the title, he truly is a "player of the people."  Raminder does not mind the amount of the buy-in, number of entries, or how prestigious the tournament is...if he feels like playing, he is going to play.  Just a few days removed from a RunGood Main Event win at Coconut Creek ($600 No Limit Hold'em), Singh was back in action last night, and found himself in a familiar spot (atop the leaderboard).

Last night's $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) attracted a total of (108) entries, and had an official prize pool of $13,176.  The field was a "who's who" of South Florida tournament poker, with many of those familiar names reaching the money.  The evening's action played through the money bubble (14 players reached the money), and eventually ended in a four-way deal, topped by Raminder Singh. Raminder earned $2,680 in the deal, along with 21.97 leaderboard points, which puts him in the top three.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:
  1. Raminder Singh (Delray Beach, FL) $2,680

Tournaments: Saturday's 6:00pm tournament is one of the most popular on the schedule, as it offers an incredibly affordable buy-in, that always sees some great returns.  The $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event has consistently crushing the posted guarantee, as the prize pool reaches five-figures on a weekly basis.

The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 12,000 chips, and levels that last (20) minutes throughout the event.  Registration is open through Level 8, allowing for almost three hours of play, prior to the window closing for the night.

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
