ICYMI: One thing that separates the good from the great, is the ability to perform when expected to (or when all of the chips are on the table, to use a good poker saying). Raminder Singh came into last night's tournament with a slight lead on the leaderboard, and knew that those close behind, would also be giving their best efforts. As he has done all this month, Raminder showed up to the tournament, and took care of business. Singh bested a field of (71) entries, to take home first place money in a three-way deal, and earn the coveted WSOP Main Event seat!! In addition to the high hands, there is a "bonus" promotion in place, which offers $1,000 to the highest hand from the 10:00am-12:00pm time period. If a player makes a straight flush in the 10:00am-10:30am qualifying period, and that is the best qualifying high hand from 10:00am-12:00pm, they will earn an extra $1,000 (in addition to the $300 they were awarded for the half-hour time period).
6:00pm - $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)
- Players start with 15,000 in tournament chips
- Levels will last (20) minutes
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
