ICYMI: Saturday's $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) had a very nice showing, with the tournament attracting a total of (70) entries. The $7,000 prize pool was well more than the posted guarantee, and offered up a first place prize that was just short of $2,500. The evening's action played through the money bubble, and down to a five-handed final table. The remaining players paused the clock, and eventually agreed to a deal, which saw James Andrew (Delray Beach, FL) take home first place money. Official results from the event are listed below:
- James Andrew (Delray Beach, FL) $1,296
- Nancy Birnbaum (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $1,283
- Jose Cabrera (Coral Springs, FL) $1,240
- Shamica Lamar (Wellington, FL) $1,032
- Melanie Hochman (Boynton Beach, FL) $941
- Jeremy Ehrke (Clay, MI) $368
- William Yu (Miami, FL) $315
- Marc Roth (Plantation, FL) $280
- James Newcomb (Parkland, FL) $245
Tournaments: At 3:00pm, the cards get in the air for our $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD), an event that is sure to attract some South Florida's best tournament players.
