ICYMI: While tournament numbers have seen a slight dip over the past week, Saturday night's $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) returned to form. Registration for yesterday's tournament closed with a total of (69) entries, and an official prize pool of $6,900 (which was scheduled to be paid out across the top nine players. Action played down to a heads-up final table, at which point Nicholas Velentzas and Anderson Patino agreed to a deal. Tournaments: At 3:00pm, the cards get in the air for our $400 No Limit Hold'em, an event that is sure to attract some South Florida's best tournament players. The event's structure will see players sitting down to starting stacks of 20,000, and playing (25) minute levels. Registration is open through Level 8, and the short break that follows.
With the way tournaments have been at the Isle Casino Pompano Park, it should come as not surprise, if this event surpasses all expectations. Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10). From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
3:00pm: $400 No Limit Hold'em
- Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels will last (25) minutes
