ICYMI: With the cards getting in the air for last night's $200 No Limit Hold'em ($15,000 GTD), begins another Player of the Month leaderboard race. Action got off to a quick start (at 6:00pm), and after the registration window closed, the tournament clock showed (78) entries. The optional $100 add-on was collected from players interested in boosting their stacks, and play resumed with Level 9 (at which point players learned that they would be battling it out for an official prize pool of $15,480. A total of (10) players were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing down to a heads-up final table. Quentin Limido and Ian Cohen agreed to a chop, with the former taking home first place money. Official results are listed below:

Tournaments: With the arrival of the weekend, comes the $80 No Limit Hold'em ($4,000 GTD)...a new event that replaces the $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD). The cards get in the air at 6:00pm, with players sitting down to starting stacks of 12,000. Levels will last (20) minutes throughout the evening, with registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows). At the end of registration, players will have the opportunity to add-on for $40 (receiving an additional 15,000 chips).
Promotions: From 9:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10). From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
In addition to the high hands, there is a "bonus" promotion in place, which offers $1,000 to the highest hand from the 9:00am-12:00pm time period. If a player makes a straight flush in the 9:00am-9:30am qualifying period, and that is the best qualifying high hand from 9:00am-12:00pm, they will earn an extra $1,000 (in addition to the $300 they were awarded for the half-hour time period).

- Players start with 12,000 in tournament chips
- Levels will last (20) minutes
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Optional $40 add-on at the end of registration (15,000 chips)
