ICYMI: After Sunday's impressive turnout, the solid number continued during last night's $250 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD) "Final Table Finish." Registration for the tournament closed with a total of (109) entries, which equated to an official prize pool of $22,127. A total of nine players were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing down to a three-handed final table. A chop was then agreed upon, with David Albertson (Coral Springs, FL) taking home first place money ($5,797). Tournaments: Tuesday's tournament schedule now boasts the $80 No Limit Hold'em ($4,000 GTD)...a new event that replaces the $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD). The cards get in the air at 6:00pm, with players sitting down to starting stacks of 12,000. Levels will last (20) minutes throughout the evening, with registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows). At the end of registration, players will have the opportunity to add-on for $40 (receiving an additional 15,000 chips).
Promotions: From 9:00am (the minute the doors open) until 12:00pm, there is a new promotion in June, offering boosted Early Bird High Hands. The high hand at the top of the hour (:00) will be awarded $599, while the high hands at the bottom of the hour (:30) will be awarded $300. From 12:00pm until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10). From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
