Promotions: From the moment the doors to the poker room open (9:00am), until 11:00pm, the high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes (with those qualifying high hands earning $300).  In addition to that "standard" high hand, Saturday's in January host the "Kickstart" promotion.  From 9:00am-12:00pm, the best qualifying high hand (over the course of the three-hour window) will receive an additional $1,000.

For example, if someone makes a straight flush during the 9:00am-12:00pm window (and it holds up as the best hand during the specified thirty minute period), it becomes eligible for the "Kickstarter."  If that straight flush is not beat before 12:00pm, said player will earn an additional $1,000 (on top of the $300 they already received for the "standard" promotion high hand).  It sounds like a lot of details, but they gist of it is...make a really good high hand, and hope that it stays the best high hand until 12:00pm...win an additional $1,000.

Friday, January 7th: Ian Cohen Wins First Ever "Mystery Bounty" Event, As The Weekend Begins!

ICYMI: It may have seemed a little "under the radar," but Thursday's recurring tournament saw a little twist added to the format, as the Isle Casino Pompano Park brings the Mystery Bounty to Florida.  The $180 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event attracted a total of (70) entries, which equated to a prize pool of $6,406 (bounty pool of $2,800).  A total of nine players were scheduled to reach the money, with the evening's action playing down to an outright winner.  Ian Cohen (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) would best the field, taking home $2,243 for the win, as well as $800 in bounties.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Wednesday, January 5th: New Tuesday Night Tournament A Success, As We Focus On The First Tournament Weekend Of 2022!!

ICYMI: With the calendar year changing, so did the Tuesday night tournament, returning to a $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event.  The change in buy-in amount was surely popular with the players, as registration for the tournament closed with a total of (85) entries (and an official prize pool of $8,500).  A total of (11) players were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing down to a four-handed final table.  At that point, a deal was agreed to, with Pathana Bougnasiri (Boca Raton, FL) taking home first place money.  Official results from the tournament are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:
