ICYMI: With yesterday's $400 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD) being canceled, there are no official results to update.  Tournament action resumes this evening, with the $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($10,000 GTD).

Tournaments: At 6:00pm this evening, the $250 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD) "Final Table Finish" returns, with a little wrinkle.  This particular tournament had such a good structure, that the final table action ran into the closing time of the poker room (players are then faced with chopping, or bagging for a Day 2).  To keep that from occurring, there will be some slight changes moving forward.

The event will be structured with 25,000 chip starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and open registration through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  The new format-wrinkle comes into play when discussing payouts, as the tournament will pay out just the final table, regardless of how many entries.  Exact payout percentages are as follows (final tables are now nine-handed):

ICYMI: Thursday's tournament slot was filled (for the second time) by the $180 No Limit Hold'em "Mystery Bounty" ($5,000 GTD), which is an event that is quickly gaining the interest of tournament players.  Registration for last night's tournament closed with a total of (47) entries, and an official prize pool of $4,277 (bounty pool of $2,800).  A total of six players were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing down to a three-handed final table.  At that point, the remaining players agreed to a deal, which saw Mark Rakoff (West Palm Beach, FL) walk away with $1,140.  Official results from the tournament are listed below (including the mystery bounty prizes):

Tournaments: With the arrival of the weekend, comes the $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)...the tournament that started this incredible tournament resurgence at the Isle Casino Pompano Park poker room.  The cards get in the air at 6:00pm, with players sitting down to starting stacks of 15,000.  Levels will last (20) minutes throughout the evening, with registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).

Promotions: From 9:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.

In addition to the high hands, there is a "bonus" promotion in place, which offers $1,000 to the highest hand from the 9:00am-12:00pm time period.  If a player makes a straight flush in the 9:00am-9:30am qualifying period, and that is the best qualifying high hand from 9:00am-12:00pm, they will earn an extra $1,000 (in addition to the $300 they were awarded for the half-hour time period).

Wednesday, January 12th: Klur Comes Out On Top, As We Reach The Midway Point Of The Week (And Focus On A Strong Weekend)!

ICYMI: Tuesday's $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) may have had a more intimate field, but it was not short of tournament poker notables.  Registration for the event closed with a total of (46) players, and an official prize pool of $5,000 (as the total number was just short of the fifty that were needed).  Six players from the field were scheduled to see a return on investment, with action ending in a four-way chip, after two in-the-money eliminations.  Tournament veteran Lawrence Klur (Boynton Beach, FL) took home first place money, along with 13.89 Player of the Month leaderboard points.  Official results from the tournament are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:

Tuesday, January 11th: Adel Jo Returns To Form, And Takes Hold Of Top Spot On The Player Of The Month Leaderboard!

ICYMI: Pre-pandemic, Adel Jo's name was frequently spotted in the recurring tournament results, as he crushed the schedule each and every week.  Last night he was able to return to the winner's circle (for the first time in a while at the Isle Casino Pompano Park Poker Room), as he topped a chop of the $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($10,000 GTD).  This week's installment of the tournament attracted a total of (93) entries, which equated to an official prize pool of $19,344.  With payouts spread across only the final table, players were more than happy to discuss numbers three-handed, eventually agreeing to a deal.  Official results from the event are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:
