It's a pretty common occurrence among familiar faces in the tournament poker world.  The Isle Casino Pompano Park Poker Room is "raising the ante" so to say, as they introduce a "last longer" option for the $600 No Limit Hold'em ($30,000 GTD) on Sunday (June 18th).  Players in the event will have a choice to enter into a Last Longer with other tournament attendees, separate from the $600 tournament buy-in.

ICYMI: Monday's $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($20,000 GTD) was one of the recurring tournaments that didn't see any changes in June (as it's perfect just the way it is).  Last night's installment was one of the more highly attended in recent weeks, with registration closing with (122) entries.  The $25,376 prize pool was scheduled to be spread across the final nine spots, with the evening's action playing down to a three-handed final table.  A deal was then agreed upon by the remaining players, which saw Eran Ben-Ezra take home first place money ($6,770), along with 32.55 leaderboard points (putting him atop the rankings).  Official results from the tournament are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:

Monday, June 6th: Noam Ben-Arie Takes Down First Running Of $600 No Limit Hold'em ($30,000 GTD), In Contention For WSOP Main Event Seat!!!

ICYMI: Sunday's $600 No Limit Hold'em ($30,000 GTD) ran for the first time ever, with things getting off to a good start.  Registration for the tournament closed with a total of (61) entries, which equated to an official prize pool of $32,818.  A total of eight players were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing down to an outright winner.  Noam Ben-Arie (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) took home first place, besting the field to take home $11,815.  Official results are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:

Tournaments: At 5:00pm this evening, the $250 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD) "Final Table Finish" returns, with a little wrinkle.  This particular tournament had such a good structure, that the final table action ran into the closing time of the poker room (players are then faced with chopping, or bagging for a Day 2).  To keep that from occurring, there will be some slight changes moving forward.

The event will be structured with 25,000 chip starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and open registration through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  The new format-wrinkle comes into play when discussing payouts, as the tournament will pay out just the final table, regardless of how many entries.  Exact payout percentages are as follows (final tables are now nine-handed):

Sunday, June 5th: Introduction Of A New Tournament, A $600 No Limit Hold'em ($30,000 GTD) Gets Underway At 3:00PM

ICYMI: Saturday's $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) continues to be one of the more consistent tournaments on the weekly schedule, once again surpassing the posted guarantee.  Registration for the event closed with a total of (78) entries, and an official prize pool of $7,300.  Of the players that remaining when Level 9 started (post-registration), ten were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing down to a four-handed final table.  A four-way deal was agreed to, with all of those involved walking away with at least $1,246.  Official results from the tournament are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:
