Tournaments: As we reach the beginning of the 2018 Battles At The Beach, today's tournament schedule takes that into consideration.  The 11:00am event is a $340 No Limit Hold'em "Super Survivor," which will award approximately 1 in every 10 players a prize of $3,000.  It's a perfect number to go into the series with, as is will likely pay for most all of the events any singular can put on their schedule.  The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 15,000 units, and levels that last (20) minutes.  As mentioned above, for every ten entries in the field, a $3,000 payout spot will make it's way to the tournament clock.  (For example, if there are (60) entries in the tournament at registration's close, then at least six payspots will be listed.  Like a satellite, once the field then reaches the point when sex players remain, the event is over).

The standard tournament format returns at 6:00pm, with the evening time slot hosting a $100 No Limit Hold'em event (that has a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool).  The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 14,000 units, and levels that last (20) minutes.

ICYMI: Thursday's afternoon time slot was filled by a non-no limit hold'em event, making the H.O.R.S.E.  players very happy.  The $150 buy-in tournament ended up surpassing the guarantee ($2,500), as the (25) entry field equated to a an official prize pool of $2,800.  Four spots were scheduled to get paid, and as we've seen in these mixed-game events (where many players known each other well), a deal was made once the money bubble burst.  Timothy Patrus (Ft. ICYMI: Wednesday's recurring schedule began with a $150 No Limit Hold'em event, which had a $3,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament would see registration close with (30) total entries making up the field, which equated to a prize pool of $3,360.  Action would eventually end in a heads-up chop, between Brad Collins and Charles Townsend.  Townsend, who earned runner-up honors, has found his name on the payouts numerous times over the past few weeks (since arriving from the Northeast).  The official results from the tournament are listed below:

ICYMI: Friday's tournaments had strong showings, with the action starting at 11:00am, as the cards got in the air for the $120 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD).  The tournament's generous structure attracted a total of (46) entries, which equated to a prize pool of $4,232.  Six spots were scheduled to reach the money, with the action stopping just moments after the bubble burst.  The discussions of a chop then began, with a deal agreed to shortly thereafter, one which saw Athanasios Datseris (Parkland, FL) taking home first place money ($820).  The results of the tournament are listed below:

It should also be noted that started back on November 1st, players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand!!!  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

11:00am - $80 No Limit Hold'em ($2,500 GTD)

- Players will begin with a 12,000 starting stack

- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels

6:00pm - $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)
