The "bounty" event is followed, at 6:00pm, by a $150 No Limit Hold'em "Deepstack" ($10,000 GTD).  Players in the tournament will be sitting down to starting stacks of 20,000 units, and playing levels that last (20) minutes.  Just like the afternoon event, registration is open through Level 10, which is just over three hours from the beginning of the tournament.

Tuesday, May 29th: Michael Marks Tops Six-Way Deal Of $200 NLH ($100,000 GTD), Focus Shifts To $1,100 NLH Single-Ante

ICYMI: A 12:00pm yesterday, (159) players returned for Day 2 of the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD).  The holiday weekend tournament attracted a total of 1,252 entries, and had players battling it out for a piece of the $190,304 prize pool, of which (115) would reach the money.  Surprisingly, even with the thirty minute levels, it took about two hours to reach the money, with Kareem Bernardo getting eliminated on the money bubble.  There were numerous players across the field that were nursing stacks of five blinds or less, that were pleased to have squeaked into the money, including the likes of Manny Perez (159th place - $320) and Kenneth Kuhl (158th place - $320).  As the field continued to shrink, we saw a large group of notables adding yet another Isle Poker tournament cash to there resume, including Zaki Lichaa (90th place - $440), Erroll Massey (75th place - $480), Joseph Mancuso (63rd place - $570), Karen Duffy (41st place - $710), Blaine McRae (32nd place - $820), Ed Novak (20th place - $1,395), and Kevin Scarola (12th place - $2,555).

Dmitry Agrachov would be eliminated on the final table bubble, as the action continued without any discussion of a deal.  Even with the stacks as shallow as they were, play went on, with the eliminations of Tony Kern, Ronald Johnston, Julia Bindelglass, and Corey Brysman.  Once Brysman exited the table, the tournament clock would be paused, and players requested to hear the ICM numbers.  After those numbers were read aloud by tournament staff, a deal was agreed to, with Michael Marks declared the event's winner.  It would be Michael's second multi-flight tournament win of the year, and third five-figure score at the Isle Poker Room (in 2018).  The official results from the final table are posted below, with full tournament results found by clicking here.
  1. Michael Marks (Coconut Creek, FL) $20,072
  2. Dolline Willis (Margate, FL) $16,140
  3. Trent Smith (Vero Beach, FL) $16,028
  4. Joseph Gale (Delray Beach, FL) $13,676
  5. Jamie Wiegrefe (Miami, FL) $13,583

Tournaments: With the focus now on the $1,100 No Limit Hold'em Single-Ante ($50,000 GTD), it's a satellite day for the event.  Things start a 11:00am, with the first of two $80 No Limit Hold'em "Step Satellite," that will see (1 in 5) players in the field earn entry into one of the two "Mega Satellites" on Wednesday ($240 No Limit Hold'em Mega Satellite).  The "step" is structured with starting stacks of the 8,000 units, and levels that last (15) minutes.  Registration is open through Level 8, and the break that follows.

The second "step satellite" of the day begins at 6:00pm, and mirrors the structure of the event from earlier in the day.

Promotions: Tuesday's promotions start with the every-popular Full House Early Bird, with the first (25) full houses awarded up to $60.  The amount won depends on which game is being played, as 2/2 Limit Hold'em players earn $20 (for each full house while eligible), 2/4 Limit Hold'em players earning $40 (for each full house while eligible), and $60 for those playing: 1/2 No Limit Hold'em, 2/5 No Limit Hold'em, 5/10 No Limit Hold'em, 3/6 Limit Hold'em, and 8/16 O.E.

The standard high hands begin at 10:00am (because off the full house promotion), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes. During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.
