ICYMI: Thursday was a day focused on cash games at the Isle Casino Pompano Beach Poker Room, with the numbers continuing to grow as each day passes. With the doors to the poker room opening in just a few hours, a lot of players are focused on tonight's action...a $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) tournament.
Tournaments: The weekend welcomes tournaments back to the schedule, with events hosted on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Tonight's event is the most popular of the three (based on prior numbers), with an impressive turnout expected to the tournament. The $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) gets underway at 6:00pm, and offers a very player-friendly structure. Thursday, November 5th: Preparing For The "Weekend Swing," And Looking Forward To $500 High Hands Next Week!!!
ICYMI: Yesterday was another succesful day at the Isle Casino Pompano Park Poker Room, with the action seemingly picking up on a daily basis (especially with the $300 high hand promotion that runs on Tuesday and Wednesday). The room has been hosting mostly 1/2 No Limit Hold'em since return to play (in mid-August), but interest in 2/5 No Limit Hold'em and 8/16 Omaha 8B/Stud 8B has been growing.
Tournaments: There are no tournaments on today's schedule, but we are just over twenty-four hours away from the return of the "weekend swing," a trifecta of tournaments that run Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening. The first of which is a $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD), with the cards getting in the air at 6:00pm tomorrow (Friday, November 6th). The tournament is structured with 15,000 chip starting stacks, has (20) minute levels, and offer late registration through Level 8. There is no cap on the field size (or re-entry), so it allows for some impressive numbers. Last week's installment had (80) entries, and a first place prize that was north of $3,000. All results from the Friday tournament will be posted here on the blog, along with results from the tournaments that follow.

Wednesday, November 4th: A Familiar Friend To The Isle Casino Pompano Park Poker Room Returns!!!
ICYMI: "In case you missed it," and acronym that has been used on the Isle Casino Pompano Park poker room blog for years. There is so much to catch up on, and in addition, some incredibly exciting things to bring to you in the near future. One of the most important pieces of information to catch up on, was the ownership transition, from El Dorado to Caesar's Entertainment. Players who return to the property, will find that a new player's card needs to be issued (Caesar's), in order to begin earning rewards. The Isle Poker Room is now labeled as an "Official WSOP Poker Room," with more information to follow!!
The poker room is open for live cash games, tournaments, as well as Ultimate Texas Hold'em, 3-Card Poker, and DJ Wild (poker room hours are from 11:00am-3:00am). Both the cash games and tournaments are being played eight-handed, with mandatory temperature checks for any player that sits down at the tables. Hand sanitizer is readily available at the table, as well as numerous location in and around the poker room. All played must wear masks (in the "correct" and safe fashion), unless consuming a beverage at the table (any dining table side has been temporarily halted). Any questions regarding the poker room, can be answered by calling during business hours (954-633-6680).
Tournaments: The tournament schedule currently sees events hosted Friday through Sunday, all of which have seen great success since their return. So while there isn't a tournament this evening, players can look forward to Friday (November 6th), as we have a $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event. All results will be posted here on the blog, as well as submitted to Hendon Mob for proper recording.
Promotions: The "standard" high hand promotion in the room, offers $100 every (30) minutes, with players having to use both hole cards to qualify (the minimum qualifying hand is still aces full of deuces). This afternoon, we have a special high hand promotion, awarding $300 every (30) minutes, with the same "rules" applying as the standard high hand (there are no rollovers). The promotion will run from 2:00pm-10:00pm, and will be hosted on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in November.
