ICYMI: For those comfortable with the higher price-point tournaments, Sunday's $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD) has become a fixture on the schedule.  Yesterday's tournament saw the registration period close with a total of (89) players, which equated to an official prize pool of $30,972.  Eleven players were scheduled to take home a piece of the prize pool, with action playing down to a four-handed final table.  At that point, a deal was agreed to, which saw Arun Dabas take home first place money (in a daily even chop).  Results from the event are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:

Tournaments: At 6:00pm this evening, the $250 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD) "Final Table Finish" returns, with a little wrinkle.  This particular tournament had such a good structure, that the final table action ran into the closing time of the poker room (players are then faced with chopping, or bagging for a Day 2).  To keep that from occurring, there will be some slight changes moving forward.

The event will be structured with 25,000 chip starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and open registration through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  The new format-wrinkle comes into play when discussing payouts, as the tournament will pay out just the final table, regardless of how many entries.  Exact payout percentages are as follows (final tables are now nine-handed):

The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 12,000 chips, and levels that last (20) minutes throughout the event. Registration is open through Level 8, allowing for almost three hours of play, prior to the window closing for the night.

ICYMI: It may have seemed a little "under the radar," but Thursday's recurring tournament saw a little twist added to the format, as the Isle Casino Pompano Park brings the Mystery Bounty to Florida.  The $180 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event attracted a total of (70) entries, which equated to a prize pool of $6,406 (bounty pool of $2,800).  A total of nine players were scheduled to reach the money, with the evening's action playing down to an outright winner.  Ian Cohen (Ft. ICYMI: Monday's $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($10,000 GTD) attracted a total of (136) entries, which helped the official prize pool cruise past the guaranteed number.  With the "Final Table Finish" format, the $28,288 prize pool was scheduled to be paid out across the top nine spots (meaning those numbers up top were really impressive).  The action would play down to a four-handed final table, at which point a deal was agreed to.  Official results from the event are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:

Tournaments: The $160 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD) tournament had a very successful first run, and is now a member of the "recurring" tournament family (and receives a boosted guarantee).  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, and has (20) minute levels throughout.  Registration is open through Level 8, and closes once the first hand of Level 9 is dealt (there is a short break between the two).

Monday, December 27th: Sunday's $20,000 Guarantee Topped By Scott Zakheim, With "Final Table Finish" Headlining Today's Schedule

ICYMI: Sunday's $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD) looked as if it was going to miss the number needed to meet the guarantee, but a late surge saw the prize pool once again eclipse $20,000 (as it has been doing on a frequent basis).  Registration for the tournament closed with a total of (67) entries, and an official prize pool of $23,316.  A total of nine players were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing down to a five-handed final table.  A chop was then agreed to, which saw tournament veteran Scott Zakheim (Ft. Tournaments: At 6:00pm this evening, the $250 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD) "Final Table Finish" returns, with a little wrinkle.  This particular tournament had such a good structure, that the final table action ran into the closing time of the poker room (players are then faced with chopping, or bagging for a Day 2).  To keep that from occurring, there will be some slight changes moving forward.

The event will be structured with 25,000 chip starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and open registration through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  The new format-wrinkle comes into play when discussing payouts, as the tournament will pay out just the final table, regardless of how many entries.  Exact payout percentages are as follows (final tables are now nine-handed):

ICYMI: The holiday did not stop tournament players, as last night's $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) showed up in strong fashion.  By the time registration closed, the tournament clock showed (58) entries, which equated to a prize pool of $5,800.  The top eight players were scheduled to reach the money, with the evening's action playing down to an outright winner.  In the end, it would be Alexander Obed besting Danilo Parada, to take home first place money ($2,087).  Official results from the tournament are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:
