ICYMI: "Slum Donkey Poker" Returns, And Chops Event 6

Event 6 ($130 No Limit Hold'em)
$60,000 Guarantee
Total Entries: 479

Raminder Singh (Delray Beach, FL)

There were three events running simultaneously yesterday afternoon, one of which was Day 2 of Event 6 ($130 No Limit Hold'em - $60,000 Guarantee).  (52) players returned in hopes of grabbing their share of the $60,000 prize pool, and if you blinked...you may have missed it (well leading up to the final table at least).  The players reached the money within an hour of play, and a host of notables were then in contention for the trophy and $14,985 first place prize.

The names were dropping quickly though from the field, as we saw the likes of Vito Polera (29th place), Andrew Touchette (19th place), and David Albertson (14th place) fall short of the final table.  The final table was headlined by Raminder Singh (Delray Beach, FL), Eric Mutschler (Tarpon Springs, FL), and Adel Jo (Miami, FL), and they happened to finish one-two-three respectively.  Raminder and Eric ended up chopping when they reached heads-up play, with Singh declared the trophy winner.  The $12,665 that Singh earned helped him eclipse the career number of $500,000, and also gave him another opportunity to plug "Slum Donkey Poker."  The official results from the event will be posted shortly.
