Isle Poker Open: Three Events Make Up A Busy Day

Today is one of the busiest of all days on the Isle Poker Open schedule, as we will see three events running simultaneously later this evening.  The action starts off at 11:00am, as players who enjoy the four-card (split pot) variation take the floor.  Event 7 ($250 Omaha H/L 8B) carries with it a $10,000 guarantee, but with the popularity of the 4/8 Omaha 8B and the 6/12 OE cash games, we should see that number in the rear view mirror.  Players in the event begin with a 12,000 starting stack, with levels lasting (25) minutes throughout.

One hour later, at 12:00pm, cards will be in the air for Day 2 of Event 6 ($130 No Limit Hold'em - $60,000 Guarantee).  The remaining (52) players are returning to battle it out for the $14,985 first prize, but first they need to reach the money.  The field comes back only (15) eliminations away from money bubble, a field full of many notables (David Albertson, Mark Caratinni, Eric Mutschler, Jim Hamburger, Andrew Touchette) we've seen throughout the series.  Official results will be posted to the blog throughout the day.

The final of the three scheduled events kicks off at 6:00pm, and it's a tournament that many players circled the moment the Isle Poker Open schedule came out.  Event 8 ($75 No Limit Hold'em Deep Stack Re-Entry) offers the most affordable buy-in of all events (excluding satellites), but still carries with it a $15,000 guarantee.  Players in this event receive a 10,000 chip starting stack, with levels lasting (20) minutes throughout.  Official results will be posted to the blog at tournament's conclusion.
