Action at Table 9 was approached on a flop of J♦ 7♣ 4♣, with Mark Kerness (Delray Beach, FL) all-in for 36,000, and Stephen Smith in the tank.  Kerness believed that Smith had taken a sufficient amount of time with his decision, and called the clock on Stephen.  Ralph Brandt would make his way to the table, and Smith's sixty-second runoff would begin.  "This is either going to be a great call, or just a terrible call," Smith stated as he dropped in the chips for a call.  Kernels turned over J♣ 10♣, holding top pair and a flush draw, followed by Smith rolling over A♥ K♦.  The turn would bring the K♣, giving Smith a pair, but also sealing up the winning flush for Kerness.
