Monday, September 25th: Final Week Of September Poker Action Begins Today

ICYMI: David Poces (Boca Raton, FL) notched a sixth tournament win for his resume yesterday afternoon, after heading a three-way chop of the $150 No Limit Hold'em event.  The tournament saw registration close with a total of (26) entries, and an official prize pool of $2,990.  Three spots were scheduled to get paid, but the final four players agreed to a deal that paid a fourth spot.

The $130 No Limit Hold'em "Hard Stop, ICM Chop" ($2,500 GTD) followed at 6:00pm, and continues to grow in popularity with the players.  A total of (22) entries made up the tournament's field, with the prize pool officially closing on the $2,500 number.  The "extra pay-spot" popped up again, as the three scheduled payouts were spread across a four-way chop.

Tournaments: This Monday starts the final week of tournament action for the month of September, with the 2017 Isle Poker Open right around the corner (October 4th-31st).  Action gets underway at 11:00am, with the cards in the air for the $100 No Limit Hold'em "Big Stack Turbo Bounty" ($2,000 GTD).  The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 18,000 units, (15) minute levels, and an option add-on at the end of registration ($25 for 10,000 units, with full amount going to the prize pool).

The evening event, which begins at 6:00pm, is a $130 No Limit Hold'em tournament.  The structure sees players sitting down to starting stacks of 16,000 units, playing levels of (20) minutes over the course of the night.

Promotions: Outside of the "standard high hand" promotion, there will be "Turbo High Hands" from 9:00am-12:00pm.  During that window of time, $100 will be awarded to the qualifying high hand every (10) minutes (rollovers apply).


11:00am - $100 No Limit Hold'em "Big Stack Turbo" w/ $25 Bounties

- Players will begin with a 18,000 starting stack
- Late and re-entries for the first (10) levels
- Option player "add-on" at the end of Level 10 ($25 for 10,000 tournament chips), with 100% of the "add-on" going to the prize pool 
- Levels are (15) minutes in length

6:00pm - $130 No Limit Hold'em

- Players will begin with a 16,000 starting stack
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will receive full stacks
- Levels are (20) minutes in length throughout
