Tournaments: Today's tournament slate starts at 11:00am, with the $100 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD). With undoubtedly one of the best afternoon tournament structures in the area, the "Monster Stack" offers up starting stacks of 25,000 units, and levels that last (20) minutes throughout the event.
The "Monster Stack" is followed at 6:00pm, by the second satellite into this Friday's $2,500 "Single-Day Series." While Monday's satellite had a $275 buy-in (and guaranteed one seat), this evening's event is a $570 buy-in, and guarantees three seats. In regards to satellites, players are very impressed with this structure, which is about as deep as you'll see for a satellite. Players sit down to the table with 14,000 unit starting stacks, with levels of (20) minutes over the course of the evening.
Promotions: The high hand promotions are in full swing from the moment the doors open this morning, with the "Turbo High Hands" ($100 awarded every 10 minutes from 9:00am-12:00pm, with rollovers) distributing money at a rapid pace. The transition at 12:00pm begins the "Spin To Win" promotion, which has awarded hundreds of thousands since it's inception. It's the high hand promotion that makes all others jealous, and affords those that have a qualifying high hand (awarded every 30 minutes), an opportunity to spin the ever-popular "Money Wheel." The total amount awarded...along with hourly breakdown, will be published tomorrow afternoon, here on the blog.
