Isle Open Event 7 (Flight 1C): Paterson Returns, Looking For Back-To-Back Titles

2017 Isle Open | Event #7
$360 No Limit Hold'em | $200,000 GTD
Level 8 (Blinds 300/600/75)
Total Flight 1C Entries: 127

The last time Stu Paterson (Boca Raton, FL) was featured on the blog, he was winning his first ever Isle Poker "major," taking down the $1,100 NLH event during the 2017 Florida State Poker Championships.

The notable names continue to file into the field, and while it seem pretty late for new entries, players entering now would be sitting down to over (30) big blinds.  Registration is open through Level 12 (and the break that follows), with the window closing for this flight at approximately 5:30pm.  One of the most recent players to take their seat was taking a winner's photo the last time he was here, with Stu Paterson (Boca Raton, FL) having just taken down Event #14 of the Florida State Poker Championships ($1,100 No Limit Hold'em).  Paterson earned $55,000 as part of a heads-up deal with Alexander Fradin, bringing his career earnings north of $884,000.  Stu is one of the more well-known and well-respected players in the community, having made name for himself playing both the live and online poker platforms.

Joining Paterson in the "super" late reg group are:

Matt Smith
Adel Jo
Tom Cuce

Players will be taking their second (of three) breaks at the end of this level, and will be returning to Level 9, with new blinds of 400/800/100.  After the seats in the field are occupied once again, we will bring you the first look at updated chip counts from the field.
