2017 Isle Classic | Event #18

Event #18 Players Remaining: 109

Lascelles Peart (Coconut Creek, FL) has a small rail that's rooting him on, and they were very vocal after he spiked a two-outer on the river.

As the field speeds towards the money, many of the shorter stacked players are doing their best to find a spot to double up.  Moments after Frank DiMaria won a big flip to double up, Lascelles Peart was all-in for 29,000 with 4 4♠, and at risk against the K K♠ of Olaf Gornisiewicz (Pompano Beach, FL).  Even though it was Peart at risk, the pot was just as critical for Olaf, as he would be left with only 30,000 if he lost the hand.

The dealer began the runout with a flop of 2♠ 3♠ 6♣, and Peart's rail rooting for a five.  After the turn paired the board with the 3♣, they changed interests, and started screaming for a four.  "Foouuurrrr," they yelled in celebration, just as they saw the dealer place the 4 on the river.  Olaf jumped from his seat in disgust, taking a lap around the near tables to calm his nerves.

Lascelles Peart - 58,000 (7bb)
Olaf Gornisiewicz - 30,000 (3bb)
