$360 No Limit Hold'em | $100,000 GTD
Level 12 (Blinds 800/1,600/200)
Total Flight 1C Entries: 71
Brandon Lulov (Brooklyn, NY) can spend the final three levels of the flight thinking about bagging a "bonus" stack, as he heads to the final break with a top three stack (in today's flight). |
Justin Harvell (Nashville, TN) played for over six hours yesterday afternoon, before busting late in Level 14, less than an hour away from bagging. When Justin arrived today, he made mention of his intention for the flight, as he stood at the tournament podium. Before Harvell headed to his table, he said aloud, "I'm here not to spend six hours in play, without bagging afterwards."
Justin put himself in solid shape to head to the final break with an above average stack, but ended up doubling-up Alberto Niebla ar the beginning of Level 12 (A♦ 4♥ < A♥ Q♦). After absorbing the loss, Harvell would be left with less than ten big blinds, and found himself all-in moments ago (against Brandon Lulov). Justin was all-in for just under 10,000, holding Q♠ J♣ against Lulov's J♠ 10♠. The Q♥ J♦ 3♣ flop paired both players, and after the 5♠ on the turn, Harvell needed only to fade a ten on the river. The dealer did end up placing the 10♥ on the felt, ending Justin's long day in brutal fashion.
Brandon Lulov - 130,000 (81bb)
Players are heading on their final break of the flight, and will be returning to Level 13, and new blinds of 1,000/2,000/300.
